  • To
  • The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center

The Faculty Dance Concert is back featuring an exciting blend of new choreography and restaged iconic works. Principal lecturer Alvin Mayes is presenting a suite that includes a restaging of Erika Thimey’s poignant liturgical dance, Pieta, along with a newly choreographed companion dance created by Mayes himself. Professor Adriane Fang will honor the famed dance company Doug Varone and Dancers’ 40th anniversary by restaging one of their celebrated works, Democracy. The remainder of the concert will showcase dynamic new works by faculty members Maura Keefe, Kendra Portier and artist-in-residence Ama Law ’19. Don’t miss this celebration of artistry, innovation and legacy!
