School of Music collaborative pianist faculty member Alexei Ulitin takes the spotlight, performing some of his favorite music from various periods. Featuring distinguished alumnus Leonid Shushanksy on Mozart’s spirited G major violin sonata, and violin faculty member James Stern for the smoky romanticism of Respighi’s violin sonata, this performance is sure to be a delight! In recognition of the bravery of his compatriots back home, Ulitin performs two solo piano works by Ukrainian composers. To close, the trio come together for Moskowski’s scintillating Suite, Op. 71.
