Washington, D.C.-native Elijah Jamal Balbed is an award-winning saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, educator and host of Clarice Presents’ monthly Jazz Jams at Busboys and Poets in College Park.,He has also established himself around the world, performing in the United Kingdom, Qatar, Russia and throughout the Caribbean. In this event, Elijah brings Brazil’s unique sounds and rhythms to The Clarice.
