The UMD Campus Pantry provides critical support to students, faculty, and staff experiencing food insecurity. As demand for assistance continues to rise, the Pantry is calling on our campus community to help restock its shelves. You can contribute by bringing non-perishable food donations to one of several upcoming drives this season.
Most-needed items include grains, canned proteins, cooking oils, herbs and spices, cereal, peanut butter, and other pantry staples. Please package donations in a bag or box before dropping them off. If you wish to donate a large quantity of items or items other than non-perishable foods, contact campuspantry@umd.edu for assistance.
You can also support the Campus Pantry by purchasing items through their Donation Registry or making a monetary gift through their Giving Site. Students in need of additional support can find resources and apply for economic crisis grants through the Thrive Center for Essential Needs.
