Defending Land, Defending Sovereignty: Black Yield’s Work of Suturing the Relationships between the Land and the People

Defending Land, Defending Sovereignty is a virtual workshop is presented by Black Yield Institute, a Pan-African social movement organization headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland. The presentation’s content amplifies the organization's worldview and summarizes its work. The content will also cover the institution’s conceptualization and organizational ideologies central to land reclamation and land stewardship. Finally, there will be some narration of the organization's journey through forced separation from farmland and the triumph toward reclamation. Participants will be engaged through group discussion during the presentation and a scheduled Q&A after it concludes.
