Research Education at University Libraries workshops equip researchers with the tools, concepts, and skills needed for every stage of the research lifecycle. The Data Science/GIS workshop series is powered by the GIS and Data Service Center. This workshop series offers introductory to advanced-level skills in GIS, Data Science, and Data Visualization among others.

Data Mastery with R: Engage in an intensive workshop on Data Mining and Predictive Analytics using R. Master core libraries like `caret` and `randomForest` for data extraction, while leveraging `glmnet` and `xgboost` for predictive insights. Enhance your results with visualization tools such as `ggplot2` and `Plotly`. Suitable for both beginners and experienced R users, this session is a succinct journey into advanced data analytics.
