Cultural Connections: Repertoire Reflecting the Diversity in the State of Maryland

As a part of his role as 2024–25 Arts for All Faculty Fellow, Assistant Clinical Professor Tim Powell designed a program that would be accessible for the average teenager and reflect the diversity of the DMV area. Over the past year, Powell, along with Jessica McKee, has traveled to high schools across Maryland performing the program for band, orchestra and choir classes. This performance features an elaborated version of the program, and features works by Adrian B. Simms, Catherine Likuta and more!
