Common Quandaries: Special Collections and University Archives 101

Powered by SCUA and Research Education at University Libraries. Common Quandaries workshop series offers introductions to a variety of skills, tools, and concepts to researchers on campus.
Join us to learn all about Special Collections and University Archives (SCUA) at the University of Maryland from a fellow graduate student! We will review what materials we have available in person (yes we do have the original Testudo just like the tour guides told you!) and the materials that we make available digitally. In addition we will walk through the process of making an appointment to view materials, how to place material requests, and how to schedule a research consultation. We know that embarking on using Special Collections can be intimidating at first, but we want to make the process as easy as possible for all of our users. We are excited to introduce you to your collections!
