People Writing and Sketching

Join artists Tori Ellison and Mami Takahashi to anonymously share stories about home — the place where you felt most in your element, known, and visible. Parts of the responses from this collaborative art project will be on view in the Stamp Gallery in Fall 2024 as part of the exhibition “We Live in the Sky: Home, Displacement, Identity”. Feel free to drop between 5:30-7:30 pm on Thursday, February 8th or 11:30 am- 1:30 pm on Friday, February 9th at Studio A in the basement of the STAMP Union to write, sketch, and speak with the artists.

Artist Mami Takahashi will also be conducting audio interviews with individuals or small groups anonymously to make a conversation about their own and/or their family's immigration experiences to be included in an art project. Takahashi’s experience will be shared too. If you are interested in participating, please sign up here for a time slot
