- Off Campus
A group of Terp alumni and researchers studied how microgravity impacts wound healing by conducting extensive research aboard the International Space Station. Hear from Dr. Bonnie Carney, B.S. '14, Chemistry, Mathematics minor, about their project and findings, and how these insights enhance our understanding of wound healing processes in space and on Earth. She will also discuss her career path, and those of her fellow graduates from UMD's College of Computer, Mathematical, and Natural Sciences with the hope of spreading information about career possibilities.
