Bahá'í Chair for World Peace 30th Anniversary Celebration

You are cordially invited to a special event celebrating the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Baha'i Chair for World Peace. Please join us for this special occasion on Monday, January 30, 2023 at 7:00 P.M. EST at the Colony Ballroom of the Adele H. Stamp Student Union on the College Park campus.
The program, will feature remarks by University of Maryland President Darryll J. Pines, several distinguished guests as well as UMD faculty, staff, students, and alumni who have contributed to the impact of the Chair over these past 30 years.
For three decades, the Baha’i Chair has advanced interdisciplinary examination and discourse on global peace through scholarship, teaching, and service. Our aim remains to develop sound scientific basis around a multitude of facets of peace and propagate strategies that lead to the creation of a better, more peaceful world.
