ARHU Pop Up Discussion: Disability and Accessibility at UMD

As part of Disability Awareness Month in October, join ARHU Dean Stephanie Shonekan and panelists to learn about the experiences of ARHU community members with disabilities in an effort to foster greater understanding and awareness of resources and accommodations that are available or need to be expanded. 

This free and private UMD community event (open to current UMD students, faculty and staff) is sponsored by the College of Arts and Humanities Dean Stephanie Shonekan and Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs and Research Trevor Parry-Giles.

  • Jill Marie Bradbury, director, School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies
  • Daune O’Brien, senior lecturer, Department of English; co-director, Disability Resource and Technology Hub
  • Kelsey Eustace, assistant director of marketing, College of Arts and Humanities
  • Rebecca Steinberg, graduate student, School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies
  • Aisha Alia Matthews, graduate student, The Harriet Tubman Department of Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies
