University Senate Meeting

9.7.2022 Meeting Agenda Summary:

The Senate will vote on one item: To approve the 2022-2023 Committee and Council slates. The Senate will hear three informational items: the Review of the Interim University of Maryland Policy on Criminal Background Checks, the 2022 Council of University System Staff Elections, and the 2021-2022 Senate Legislation Log. President Darryll J. Pines will give a Presidential briefing. Reka S. Montfort will be presenting an orientation for new Senators.

The Senate is a governing body composed of faculty, staff, students, and administrators that are peer-elected, volunteer, or appointed.
