Every year, the College of Arts and Humanities (ARHU) Graduate Advisory Board hosts the Common Threads conference, bringing graduate students from across the College and the University to share research and forge new relationships. This year's conference, (Re)Connect: Common Threads, New Directions, emphasizes collaboration and care. Offerings include research presentations, a panel on the Arts for All program, a hands-on visit to the Book Lab, and a keynote speech by new ARHU Dean Dr. Stephanie Shonekan. (Re)Connect takes place from 10am-6pm in Tawes Hall, and registration is free and open to the public. Questions? Reach out to the organizers at commonthreadsumd@gmail.com.
