PLACEHack challenges student teams to rethink a place-based problem in College Park or on UMD’s campus—an underused space, a dangerous intersection, a parking lot—and conceive something new. Creativity, teamwork and pizza converge to inspire great spaces@UMD and win cash prizes!
In Partnership with the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, this year’s challenge is accessibility. The 24-hour challenge takes place Friday, October 25 - Saturday October 26, 2024.
