The Office of Sustainability is excited to host a lecture on the topic of mindful consumption. The lecture with Dr. Giovanni Baiocchi from the Department of Geographical Sciences will take place in Stamp 2113 on Thursday, November 16th from 3-4pm. Dr. Baiocchi will discuss UMD’s research connecting geographical location, socioeconomic status, and carbon footprints and the importance of considering your choices as a consumer.
