Data Science/GIS workshop series is powered by GIS and Data Service Center, and Research Education at University Libraries. This workshop series offers introductory to advanced level skills in GIS, Data Science, Data Visualization among others.
Majority of print maps and atlases located on the 4th floor of McKeldin Library came as a part of the Federal Depository Library Program, which hosts more than 200,000 print maps and dozens of atlases. The collection includes a wide range of items, such as USGS topographic maps, CIA/military maps, US Forest Service maps, foreign maps, National Geographic maps, and more. During this special event, a Map Specialist will provide a brief tour of the diverse cartographic collections. We invite you to join us and discover how maps can fascinate you and deepen your understanding of the world. You can also browse an interactive storymap about the McKeldin Map Collection.
