UMD has recently integrated the non-binary marker, X, into its Student Information System and student reports. Additionally, the Office of Institutional Research, Planning, and Assessment is working to expand its reporting beyond the federal race and ethnicity categories. This session will talk about how we integrated more recent understanding of identity into our existing technology system.
