In this introductory workshop, you will learn about different types of intellectual property rights: copyright, patents, trademarks, trade secrets. Learn what these rights are, how to obtain them and why, what are associated cots etc. In addition, you will learn how the university treats intellectual property as set in the University of Maryland Intellectual Property Policy.
