Innovate Your Course: A Design Thinking Retreat

Teaching and Learning Transformation Center workshop for instructors:

This one day, in-person retreat will provide you with individual and collaborative working time, plus intentionally designed activities and discussions, to help you reflect and brainstorm innovative methods to enhance your courses. You will leave this retreat with an action plan for implementing new ideas and improvements in your courses. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

This opportunity is best for instructors who are not brand new to teaching at UMD. It is ideal for those who have: completed the TLTC Design Sprint, taught a course developed by someone else and want to make it their own, or have taught the same course for years and want to enhance it by developing new or different assignments and incorporating more opportunities for active learning and engagement.
