Lei's conversation will focus on her background and journey, how she finds meaning in her career and how she discovered her North Stars. She will also focus on what meaning she's seeking in the future, including work on the environmental impact of waste, particularly medical waste, and the quest to eliminate it through sustainable product design. She will talk about addressing the challenges posed by climate change through engineering design.

Lei is a Partner and the Senior Manager of the computer engineering group at Key Tech, with close to 20 years of product development experience, and responsible for the software design and development process.

Since joining Key Tech in 2007, she has contributed to the development of numerous instruments, ranging from molecular diagnostics to automated industrial testing.
