Common Quandaries: STEM Library and JSG Makerspace 101

Powered by STEM Library, The John and Stella Graves Makerspace, and Research Education at University Libraries. Common Quandaries workshop series offers introductions to a variety of skills, tools, and concepts to researchers on campus.

Join us to learn all about the STEM Library and the John and Stella Graves Makerspace at the University of Maryland! We will review the free (yes, free!) services we offer in the library and the Makerspace, the technology we have available and how to get trained to use it, and recurring/upcoming events. Additionally, we will walk through how to navigate our website, make an appointment, and submit a 3D print request. We know that using the Makerspace can be intimidating at first, but we want to make the process as easy as possible for all of our users. The space is open and free to use for all UMD students regardless of their department. We are excited to introduce you to our resources!
