Research Education at University Libraries workshops equip researchers with the tools, concepts, and skills needed for every stage of the research lifecycle.
GIS and Data Service Center and the MakerSpace Lab at the STEM Library invite you for an immersive experience with the AR Sandbox during Love Data Week! Participants will use the AR Sandbox to transform a 2D topographic map into a 3D creation. Showcase your spatial and creative talents for a chance to win awards totaling $500! Everyone is welcomed to participate regardless of your skill level. We help you get started!
Key Dates & Events:
- Open Office Hours: Drop by for hands-on demos and training from Jan 29–31, and Feb 3-4, 1-3 PM in the STEM Library Makerspace Lab/ Kirwan Hall
- Competition: Create your masterpiece from Feb 17–21.
- Award Ceremony: Mark your calendars for Thursday, February 27, 2 PM at STEM Library. Light concessions will be provided to participants with an opportunity to honor the winners.
